Arabic Language Technologies

Title of the Presentation

DEEP NEURAL NETWORKS FOR LANGUAGE PROCESSING. CASE OF ARABIC: FROM CHARACTERS TO DOCUMENTS.

Abstract of the Presentation
In recent years, the breakthrough in processing has provided researchers great potential and computational power to process language. The deep neural networks are one of the hypes of this breakthrough. In this presentation, we present approaches to understand and process Arabic in different core tasks such as segmentation, part of speech tagging and semantics. The power of these models have provided us tools to exploit language in unprecedented manner and allowed to process vast amount of data. The presentation will provide some insights on aspects of these technologies.
